Generac® Maintenance Schedule
Generators are shipped with break in oil and therefore need their first service and oil change at 25 hours. The service schedule is every 100 running hours going forward. Valve adjustments are required on any generator that doesn’t have hydraulic lifters and could be needed anywhere between 25-100 hours, it varies from generator to generator.
Generac® Warranty Information
Generac® generators come with a standard 5 year limited warranty. Generac® runs promotions regularly offering longer terms and additional terms can be purchased. Maintenance of the generator must be maintained as specified in the owner’s manual to maintain the warranty.
